We got our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Penny, from Ironwood Riverside K9s and she is the best dog ever! She is so sweet, healthy, and loving. We aren’t local, but they were able to text us lots of pics throughout her first 8 weeks. Now she’s 5 months old and so much fun. Great experience, great dog!

When i was looking for a Bernese Mountain Dog to add to our family, I found Ironwood Riverside K9s. I spoke to Monique on the phone and she had a litter available. We went to visit and i was very impressed with the kennels and birthing room. We met little Ms. Bunsen and immediately fell in love. Monique sent numerous update photos to us. Pick up was easy and we were
sent home with a full set of vet paperwork and a goody bag with food. I cannot say enough about Ms. Bunsen. She is the most laid back, friendly dog. She is smart, has a great demeanor and is beautiful. Numerous people have commented how "perfect" she is including our vet. Her first time on leash it was like she had been doing for years. Sits well for bath time and drying. Loves car rides and has been awesome around our other dogs and she does very well around cats. Monique has stayed in touch and I know if we have any questions or concerns she is just a phone call away. We are very happy with our Berner and love her so much.

I bought a Bernese mountain dog puppy. Her name is Alice. She is the most amazing dog. Best personality ever. Loves everything and gentle with other animals. One thing I didn’t realize is what great guard dogs these breeds are too. She is loving and protective, so smart and so much fun. Everyone, once in their life should own this breed and from this breeder. I am looking at getting a second one from them.

I highly recommend this breeder if you are thinking of expanding your family to include a Berner or Doodle! We got our Andy, a Bernese Mountain dog, from them in early December 2025. We had earlier communications with them and visited their home to see the pups before purchasing. This is a true family owned business where dogs are loved and nutured!! fur baby from this breeder. We worked closely with Monique and Renee and they have been very communicative throughout the whole process! We had never worked with a breeder before and were concerned about making sure to find one that was reputable and bred healthy dogs and took good care of them. We were fortunate to find this breeder and would contact them again if we ever decide to expand our family! You can be assured that your pup’s starting out life with a caring hand and under conditions that will set him/her up to be a loving, family member for you!!! They not only breed, they have a facility that houses rescue dogs and gives them a loving home with lots of space to run and loving care! You cannot ask for a better breeder!!!
